Geotextile Tubes for Sediment Management and Erosion Control

According to Wikipedia, a geotextile tube is a large tube shaped container made from durable, permeable geotextile fabric and filled with sand, sediment, or slurry. These tubes are commonly used for erosion control, flood protection, shoreline stabilization, land reclamation, and dewatering operations. Water can pass through the fabric while soil and sediment remain contained inside.
